Recognized for her captivating virtuosity and rich tonal expression, Dr. Margarita Loukachkina received her childhood musical training at the esteemed Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, and earned her Bachelor, Master and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from Peabody Institute of Music. Winner of numerous competitions domestically and internationally, she performs internationally throughout the year with her husband, Nikita Borisevich (violin) in the Borisevich Duo. Ms. Loukachkina is an active performer and dedicated educator, where she teaches at Garrison Forest, McDonogh, and St. Paul’s schools.
